There are a total of 3 different type of gear slots: Grunt, Tactician and Power. Gears can only fit into their respective Gear Slots.
Different troopers have different slots available.
Tactician and Power gears provide bonuses in encounters.
Grunt gears provide bonuses in missions.
The number of gear slots are varied according to the different types and rarities of the Troopers.
