Gears

Gears can be equipped by Troopers during Encounters or Missions. They can be either virtual or NFTs.

Gear Slots

There are a total of 3 different types of gear slots: Grunt, Tactician and Power. Gears can only fit into their respective Gear Slots.

Gear Rarity

Virtual gears has 4 different rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary. Higher rarities [[Gears] have certain Empire level requirement that needs to be met before you can equip them.
Epic: Requires Empire level 5
Legendary: Requires empire level 10

Trading Gears

Virtual Gears can only be bought or sold on the Black Market using Credits. There are no method of direct trading between players.

Upgrading Gears

Virtual Gears can be upgraded by combining 10 of each same type and same rarity.

Example

10 x Common Armor Plate + 100K Ocuriums can be upgraded into a Rare Armor Plate
10 x Rare Armor Plate + 2 million Ocuriums can be upgraded into an Epic Armor Plate
10 X Epic Armor Plate + 10 million Ocuriums can be upgraded into a Legendary Armor Plate

Cost of ocurium

common to rare: 100k
rare to epic: 2 million
epic to legendary: 10 million

Many people are confusing about how many common gears are required to become 1 legendary virtual gear.

Calculation

1 legedary armor plate = 10 epic armor plates
10 epic armor plates = 10 rare armor plates x 10 times = 100 rare armor plates
100 rare armor plates = 10 common armor plates x 100 times = 1000 common armor plates

In conclusion, 1000 common gears are required to become 1 legendary virtual gear.

Important, all virtual gears (including legendary virtual gears) will be wiped after each season ends!

One way Outlaw Troopers will give virtual gears increased value is by allowing virtual gears to be minted into NFTs. If you collect enough virtual gears of the same kind during a single season (before the end of season wipe) and upgrade them into a legendary gear, you can turn in this legendary virtual gear to create one newly minted NFT gear. 1000 FGL will be charged as a minting fee.

At the end, you will receive a NFT voucher(within 24 hours processing time) which is tradable in the secondary market(eg. AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks). The voucher is blendable in NeftyBlocks. It will generate a permanet NFT gear with an 85% chance of being epic gear or 15% chance of being a legendary gear.

Why would you want to trade in a legendary gear for an epic you ask? Remember, the virtual gears will all be wiped at the end of the season. If you mint an NFT, it will be yours to own forever (or sell/trade!).

1000 FGL + 1 legendary virtual gear = 1 gear NFT (85% epic, 15% legendary)
