Robotic Encounters

Robotic Encounters are one of the 2 types of Encounters available in Outlaw Troopers.

Entering a Robotic Encounter

Players can enter Robotic Encounters only after they have completed the in-game tutorial. Click on the "Encounter" button on the top of the screen to open up the encounter UI, next, select Robotic Encounters.

Robotic Encounter Rules

Qwitts and Robotic Access Key are required to enter a robotic encounter.

Each Qwitts NFT in your wallet increases you ship's maximum Armor and Shield by 5% during Robotic Encounters. Maximum increasable Armor and Shield is decided by your Max Qwitt Stack Bonus Upgrade. You can increase the limit by upgrading them using Artifacts

Encounters will end when you defeat the final boss or when you're defeated by an enemy. You will still keep all rewards you have won up until this point should you have been defeated.

Clear the boss node to unlock next tier.

Tiers

Tiers are also known as Levels. There are unlimited tiers.

Robotic Access Key + Credits are required in order to start a robotic encounter.

Entry fees scale according to tiers, higher tiers require more keys and Credits to enter.

Enemy Types

There are a total of 3 enemy types, each enemy has its own ability
Repair Drone: Heals nearby allies, drains 5 shields from you per attack
Webber: Fast moving units that Slow you when they come in range
Combat Drone: Weak drones that deal low amount of Damage

note: whenever a ship has at least 1 remaining shields they will receive 30% less basic attack damage from their enemies

Nodes

What are Nodes?

Each encounter, whether it is a Normal Encounters or Robotic Encounters, consist of different amount of Nodes. Nodes are travelable path. Each Node may have a random Node Reward.

No single encounter will remain the same forever. Each level will be different from every other level, as rewards and node path are all randomly generated for every new instance.

Node Rewards

Node Reward scales according to the tier, higher tiers increases your overall reward. There are a total of 3 different type of nodes in a robotic encounter:
Artifacts nodes
Robot Parts nodes
Puzzle nodes
Boss nodes

Node Reward Multiplier

Every time you clear a node, the next node's difficulty (Enemy's Damage, Armor and Shield) will increase by roughly 25% and rewards onward during that encounter will increase by 10%.

Puzzle Nodes

The only problem with designing a very easy to play encounter type is that it opens itself up to players creating "bots" that play for them and impact the economy negatively. Puzzle Nodes were added in Season 8 to combat this, you will be presented with an obscured image on the left and will have to pick which Trooper it matches on the right! Look for identifying parts of the Trooper like jewelry, hair, clothing, etc. If you fail you will not be immediately banned or anything, it just notifies us internally.

On the positive side you DO earn Artifacts for this, so if you are human its quick and easy artifacts!
