Troopers cannot travel through space without a ship!  A ship will be required for your trooper to go out on missions and encounters.  Virtual ships can be purchased in-game using credits.  At the start of each season every player will start with 1 virtual ship in their inventory.  If you want bigger, better, and more powerful ships you will want to purchase a Cosmic Clash NFT ship. At this point in time, Outlaw Troopers will not be selling or producing any official NFT ships.  All ships will either be virtual from Outlaw Troopers or NFT form from Cosmic Clash.

Please note: See Cosmic Clash NFT Integration for important details on the bonuses that Cosmic Clash ships provide while in game.

Players can purchase as many virtual ships in game as they desire.  However, please note that all virtual ships are wiped at the end of the season. You will only receive 1 virtual ship at the start of each season.  If you want permanent ships you will need to purchase Cosmic Clash ships.

Ships

Ships are essential for Normal Encounters, Defeat the Horde, Expedition and Seasonal Ship Battles. There are both virtual version and NFT version of Ships.

Virtual ships

Virtual ships can be rented in-game using Credits or Ship Components via the Ship Terminal. All virtual ships will be wiped when a Season ends.

Ship Stats (Ship Battles)

In the Ship Terminal, you'll find detailed stats for each ship — like Armor, Shield, Damage, and more.

These detailed stats only matter in Defeat the Horde, Expedition and Seasonal Ship Battles.

For Normal Encounters, the only thing that matters is the ship’s Rarity — not its individual stats.

Ship Rarities Bonus (Normal Encounters)

Common: +25% maximum Armor and Shield
Rare: +100% maximum Armor and Shield
Epic: +125% maximum Armor and Shield
Legendary: +150% maximum Armor and Shield

Note: Mega Qwitt works as an Epic ship in Encounters. See its more details in the Mega Qwitt section.

Ship Armor and Shield calculation

Formula of calculating a ship's armor and shield

Maximum Armor = 100 * (100% + Bonuses from Gear + Trooper + Badge + Ship Rarity + Tech Tree)

Maximum Shield = 100 * (100% + Bonuses from Gear + Trooper + Badge + Ship Rarity + Tech Tree)
