The free map layout after you have cleared an encounter will always be a 4x4 map, and can only have up to 2 maximum credit nodes.
[[Encounter Mods]] and [[Layout Rerolling]] are added into game in [[Season]] 5 as a replacement of the old key boost system.
 
<h2>Rerolling Mods</h2>
Players are able reroll encounter mods before the start of an [[Normal Encounter]]. There are two types of reroll:
 
1. Easy mode: Free of cost, randomly generates between 0 to 2 mods. Easy mode has a guaranteed mod that reduces your [[Credits]] and [[Reputation]] gain by 30%.
 
2. Hard mode: Cost 2 [[Normal Access Key]] to reroll, randomly generates between 3 to 10 mods.

Encounter with mods that add additional spawn of certain enemy type has 10% chance to spawn addition enemy when each natural enemy spawn has occurs. Assuming a map has 90 enemies, each "Additional Spawn" mod will spawn approximately 9 extra enemies. With all 4 "Additional Spawn" mods, an encounter may spawn up to 126 enemies on average instead of the original 90.

Layout Rerolling

Layout Rerolling and Encounter Mods are added into game in Season 5 as a replacement of the old key boost system.

Rerolling

Players are able reroll encounter's layout and node reward type before the start of an Normal Encounter.

Cost of reroll: 3 x Normal Access Key

Map Size Weight

Minimum Map Size: 4 x 4

Maximum Map Size: 6 x 5

Map width and height are rolled seperately with the following odds:

Size 4: 70%

Size 5: 15%

Size 6: 15%
