Gears

Gears in Outlaw Troopers can be either virtual or NFTs.

Types of Gears & Gear Slots

Gears are categorized into four types, each fitting into specific Gear Slots:

- Grunt Gear: Since Season 13, Grunt Gears provide passive bonuses in the Spacefarer system without needing to be equipped, offering account-wide global bonuses to all Troopers on Galaxy Missions. These passive bonuses have a hard cap.

- Tactician Gear: Equipped in slots that provide passive bonuses during Normal Encounters

- Power Gear: Equipped in slots that enable active abilities during Normal Encounters

- Limited Gear: Equipped in slots that provide special benefits (max mint of 50)

Each type of gear can only be placed in its corresponding Gear Slot. Different Troopers have varying slot availability based on their types and rarities.

- Run Galaxy Missions

- Complete A.R.C Initiator Quests

- Clear Gear Nodes while running Normal Encounters

- Buy from the Black Market

Gear rarity & requirement

Virtual gears has 4 different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Higher rarities Gears have certain Reputation level requirement that needs to be met before you can equip them.
Epic: Requires Reputation level 5
Legendary: Requires Reputation level 10

Gear stacking

NFT Gears can be stacked to increases their Gear Level. Gear Level provides special bonuses during Normal Encounters

Simply hold 2 NFT of the same kind, and you'll have the option to use a Level 2 version of that kind in the main game.

Gear Score

Every player starts with a 100 Gear Score limit, which determines the maximum Gear power you can equip. This limit can be increased by upgrading Gear Score through the Tech Tree.

- Common Gear: +50 Gear Score

- Rare Gear: +100 Gear Score

- Epic Gear: +150 Gear Score

- Legendary Gear: +200 Gear Score

- Each Gear Stacking Level: +20 Gear Score

- Limited Gears: Do not cost any Gear Score

Upgrading gears

Virtual Gears can be upgraded by combining 10 identical Gears of the same rarity.

Gear minting

In Outlaw Troopers, players can choose to mint their legendary virtual Gears into NFTs. First, you'll have to collect enough virtual gears of the same kind during a Season (before the end of season wipe) and upgrade them into legendary Gears. Turn these newly crafted Legendary Gears + a 1000 eFGL Token minting fee from the inventory screen to initiate the minting process. You will receive an eNFT Gear Voucher in the FGL Vault. The voucher is tradable in the secondary market such as AtomicHub, and can be blended in the FGL Vault. Blending a Gear Voucher will generate a permanent eNFT gear at the following ratio: 85% Epic / 15% Legendary

Once your gears are minted into NFT version, they are yours to keep forever. Where as virtual Gears will be wiped after each Season ends.
