Gears
Gears in Outlaw Troopers can be either virtual or NFTs.
Types of Gears & Gear Slots
Gears are categorized into four types, each fitting into specific Gear Slots:

Grunt Gear: Since Season 13, Grunt Gears provide passive bonuses in the Spacefarer system without needing to be equipped, offering account-wide global bonuses to all Troopers on Galaxy Missions. These passive bonuses have a hard cap.

Tactician Gear: Equipped in slots that provide passive bonuses during Normal Encounters.

Power Gear: Equipped in slots that enable active abilities during Normal Encounters.

Limited Gear: Equipped in slots that provide special benefits. (Each type of Limited Gear has a maximum immortalize of 50.)
Each type of gear can only be placed in its corresponding Gear Slot. Different Troopers have varying slot availability based on their types and rarities.
Ways to obtain Virtual Gears
- Complete A.R.C Initiator Quests.
- Clear Gear Nodes while running Normal Encounters.
- Buy from the Black Market.
Gear rarity & requirement
Virtual gears have 4 different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary.
Gear stacking
NFT Gears can be stacked to increases their Gear Level. Gear Level provides special bonuses during Normal Encounters. The maximum stack level is 5.
- By holding 2 NFTs of the same kind, you can use a Level 1 version of that Gear in the main game.
- By holding 6 NFTs of the same kind, you can use a maximum Level 5 version of that Gear in the main game.
Gear Score
Every player starts with a 100 Gear Score limit, which determines the maximum Gear power you can equip. This limit can be increased by upgrading Gear Score through the Tech Tree.
- Common Gear: +50 Gear Score.
- Rare Gear: +100 Gear Score.
- Epic Gear: +150 Gear Score.
- Legendary Gear: +200 Gear Score.
- Each Gear Stacking Level: +20 Gear Score. (up to +100 Gear Score for max stack.)
- Limited Gears: Do not cost any Gear Score.
Upgrading gears
Virtual Gears can be upgraded by combining 10 identical Gears of the same rarity.
Cost of upgrade
Common to Rare: 20 Credits.
Rare to Epic: 400 Credits.
Epic to Legendary: 2000 Credits.

Gear immortalizing
In Outlaw Troopers, you can immortalize your legendary virtual Gears into NFTs.
How to Immortalize?
- Collect and upgrade virtual Gears to legendary before the Season ends.
- From your inventory, immortalize the legendary Gear by paying a 1000 eFGL Token fee.
- After immortalizing, you'll receive a Gear Voucher in the FGL Vault.
Blending Gear Vouchers
Blend a Gear Voucher to create a permanent eNFT Gear:
- 85% chance for Epic.
- 15% chance for Legendary.
Important: Virtual Gears are wiped at Season end. eNFT/NFT Gears are yours forever.
Gear Voucher
You can get Gear Vouchers by:
- Immortalizing Gear in-game.
- Buying from the secondary market. (e.g., AtomicHub or FGL Vault)
Blending Instructions
If you immortalized a Gear Voucher in-game, claim it first:
Go to FGL Vault → Claim eNFTs tab. (Your newly immortalized eNFT should appear instantly for claiming.)
After claiming, blend it:
Go to FGL Vault → Blend → My Vouchers tab.
